Dr. D. Lee McCluskey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping clients achieve their personal goals for self-improvement through evidence-based methods. Dr. McCluskey has two decades of experience as a therapist and a decade of experience researching the most effective elements of psychotherapy. His specialties include treatments that incorporate mindfulness, as well as traditional behavioral and cognitive therapies. Dr. McCluskey believes that the therapeutic relationship is the basis of effective therapy and strives to show caring and concern while gently asking his clients to move beyond their old patterns of thinking and behaving. Dr. McCluskey truly believes that therapy is a combined effort. In the process of helping clients to change, he facilitates understanding of their own process of change, the purpose of the suggested therapeutic exercises, and observation of their changes through regular assessment of outcome measures.
