Dr. Richard Long

Dr. Richard Long is a Clinical and Child Psychologist with over 35 years of professional experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families. His experience includes work with developmental disorders, emotional and behavioral problems in children and teenagers, consultation with parents, and (most recently) 14 years as a health psychologist with the US Army at Fort Cavazos (Fort Hood), where he worked with Active Duty Service Members, dependents, and retirees for problems including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders.  His breadth of experience in psychotherapy and consultation includes all ages and a wide range of psychological issues and problems.

  • Master of Arts (MA), Counseling Psychology - Southern Methodist University

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA), Philosophy and Psychology - Dickinson College
